Terms of Service

1. Who we are

datemymomdotcom is a service of Margaret Nighthawk, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("we", "us"). We operate a dating community designed for adults aged 55 and older, with optional oversight from their adult family members. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Parent (dating) accounts must be at least 55 years old. Adult child / helper accounts must be at least 18. You must provide accurate information and submit a government-issued ID for verification before your profile becomes visible to other members.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity, age, or relationship status.
• Solicit money or financial information from other members.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members.
• Upload sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise unlawful content.
• Use the service for commercial purposes without our written consent.

A full list of prohibited conduct, reporting instructions, and enforcement actions is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, at our sole discretion.

4. Human trafficking & exploitation

You may not use the Service to engage in, promote, or facilitate human trafficking (including sex trafficking or sexual exploitation of any person), or to aid, abet, or knowingly encourage the abuse of any person. We cooperate with law enforcement regarding suspected violations and will suspend or terminate, without notice, any account engaged in such conduct. 5. Family oversight

When a member invites a trusted loved one as a helper, that helper may see the parent's matches and the "Group" chat thread with each match. The "Private" thread between matched parents is never visible to family helpers. Family helpers cannot reset passwords, change billing, or delete the parent's account.

6. No professional advice

We are not a matchmaker, dating coach, or background-check service. ID verification and optional background checks reduce — but do not eliminate — the risk of meeting bad actors. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting matches in person.

7. Memberships and billing

Access to messaging and other paid features requires an active membership. Memberships are offered as: weekly, monthly, 3-month (paid upfront or paid monthly), 6-month (paid upfront or paid monthly), and annual (paid upfront or paid monthly). Upfront plans bill the full term in advance; monthly-pay options for 3-month, 6-month, and annual plans bill month-by-month at the plan's monthly rate. All plans auto-renew at the same terms unless you cancel from your Membership page before renewal.

First-time subscriber bonus months. First-time subscribers on a 3-month, 6-month, or annual plan (whether paid upfront or monthly) earn bonus free months that are added at the END of the paid term — 1 bonus month for 3-month and 6-month plans, and 3 bonus monthsfor annual plans. After the bonus period, the subscription auto-renews at the plan's standard rate. Weekly and monthly plans do not qualify for bonus months; if you're considering one of those, we may prompt you to consider a longer plan to earn the bonus. Bonus months do not apply to accounts that already have Founding Member status.

Founding Members. The first 200 verified parents in each launch city can claim a Founding Member spot. Claiming a spot requires a valid card and a real $30 paymentat signup, which purchases 90 days of full access. After that, the Founding Member rate of $30/month is locked in for life (or a $324/year alternative, switchable at the end of any billing period). The locked rate is tied to the member's profile and survives cancellation or lapse; it ends only if the account is deleted. For named launch cities that are not yet live, the same $30 charge pre-registers your seat and your access and billing begin when the city goes live. See the Founding Offer page for details.

Gift memberships and boost credits. Gift memberships (one-time or monthly) and boost credit packs are separate one-time purchases with their own terms, described in the Membership area and in our Refund Policy.

Cancellations, refund eligibility, and billing-error corrections are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that any user is who they claim to be, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Margaret Nighthawk, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including harm from interactions with other members.

10. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Profile page. Deletion removes your profile, photos, matches, and chat history. ID verification documents are retained for up to 90 days for fraud-prevention purposes, then deleted.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Indiana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
