Refund Policy

Last updated: 7/24/2026

datemymomdotcom is operated by Margaret Nighthawk, LLC(Indiana). This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for the different things you can purchase on the Service.

Subscriptions

Memberships are sold as weekly, monthly, 3-month (paid upfront or monthly), 6-month (paid upfront or monthly), and annual (paid upfront or monthly) plans. Upfront plans bill the full term in advance; monthly-pay options for 3-month, 6-month, and annual plans bill month-by-month at the plan's monthly rate. All plans auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You can cancel at any time from your Membership page. Cancelling stops future renewal charges and keeps your access active through the end of the period you've already paid for. We do not issue prorated refunds for the unused portion of a current billing period once a payment has processed.

First-time subscriber bonus months

First-time subscribers on a 3-month, 6-month, or annual plan (whether paid upfront or monthly) earn bonus free months added at the END of the paid term — 1 bonus month for 3-month and 6-month plans, and 3 bonus months for annual plans. This is not a free trial: your card is charged from day one for the plan you selected, and the bonus months are appended after the paid term completes, before auto-renewal at the standard rate. Weekly and monthly plans do not qualify for bonus months, and the bonus does not apply to accounts that already have Founding Member status.

Founding Members

Claiming a Founding Member spot (limited to the first 200 verified parents in each launch city) requires a valid card and a real $30 charge at signup. That charge purchases 90 days of full access; after those 90 days, the subscription renews at the locked Founding Member rate of $30/month (or a $324/year alternative, switchable at the end of any billing period).

Founding Members can cancel at any time from the Membership page. Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps access active through the end of the current billing cycle; no prorated refund is issued for the unused portion of the current cycle. The Founding Member rate is locked for life so long as the membership stays continuously active. Deleting the account permanently ends the locked rate; it cannot be reinstated by re-registering later.

City pre-registration payments

For named launch cities that have a target launch date but are not yet active, verified parents can pre-register their seat with a one-time $30 charge at signup. Access and recurring billing do not begin until the city goes live; at go-live your subscription starts with a credit that offsets the first 90 days so you are not double-charged for the pre-payment.

If you delete your account more than 30 days before the target launch date, we refund $28.50 of the $30 pre-registration charge — we retain $1.50 to cover ID verification costs already incurred. Accounts deleted within 30 days of the target launch date, or after the city has gone live, are not eligible for a refund of the pre-registration payment.

Gift memberships

One-time gift memberships (3, 6, or 12 months) are charged to the gifter's card at purchase. Redemption codes are single-use and default to a 12-month redemption window. Gift memberships are final and non-refundable once purchased, whether or not the code is redeemed.

Monthly gift memberships are ongoing subscriptions billed to the gifter's card. The gifter can cancel future renewals at any time; no refund is issued for the current billing period.

Boost credits

Boost credit packs are one-time purchases and are final and non-refundable once purchased. Unused credits remain on your account and do not expire.
