The SMS and automated-call features are built but not enabled yet. The examples below show the opt-in wording for when they are enabled.
What messages are sent
- Safety alerts: texts to a member’s own chosen trusted loved one (linked helper/contact), including when the member misses a check-in after a date. Alerts also cover feeling uncomfortable, Send help, still no reply, and safe or reached-them notices.
- Phone verification: one-time verification codes when someone verifies their phone number.
- Fake call: an automated call to the member’s own verified phone when they tap Fake call, and verification texts when they verify their number.
No marketing or promotional texts.
Who receives messages and how they opt in
The person receiving the texts signs in and opens their Wellness page. Helpers/contacts use “Text me safety alerts”; dating members use “Your phone for Fake call.” Each person enters their own mobile number, ticks an initially unchecked consent checkbox, then verifies ownership with a texted code. A member does not opt in on a contact’s behalf.
