I built DateMyMomDotCom because I kept noticing the same thing: as people get older, it gets harder to be seen. Harder to meet someone new. Harder to put yourself out there again — especially after loss, divorce, or just years of life getting in the way. I watched people I care about spend evenings alone that didn't have to be lonely, and I wanted to do something about it.

At the same time, I knew the risks were real. Romance scams targeting older adults cost Americans over $1.3 billion in 2024 alone — and most dating apps weren't built with that risk, or this audience, in mind. They're designed for fast swiping and high volume, not for someone taking a careful, considered step back into dating.

So I built something different: a place where every profile is verified, where red flags get caught before they become heartbreak, and where the people who love you most can help you feel confident about who you're talking to — without taking away your independence or your say.

This app exists because I believe companionship matters regardless of your age. I believe good people deserve to be found. And I believe safety and connection don't have to be a tradeoff.
